Our Cause
The Broomall Rotary has been performing
community service work since 1961. The race proceeds fund the Broomall Rotary's
local charitable service projects.
The Broomall Rotary's Firecracker 5K is a 5 kilometer running event that will precede the Marple-Newtown 4th of July Parade. The parade and race day is Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Gather your friends, family, or co-workers and form a team to conquer the course together. Here's what you need to know about the team competition:

What: Firecracker 5K Team Competition
- Registration: Sign up individually and indicate your team name during registration. Don't have a team yet? No worries! You can join or create one on the spot.
- How it Works: Teams can consist of any number of members.The team with the most participants crossing the finish line by 10:15AM wins!
- Why Join the Team Competition? Team Award: Broomall Rotary 5k Team Trophy. Fun: Experience the camaraderie and motivation of running alongside your teammates.Team Spirit: Rally your teammates and cheer each other on as you complete the 5K together. Community: Connect with fellow participants and celebrate fitness, health, and teamwork.
